GTA 5 players celebrate their 10th anniversary of their first GTA 5 game by recognizing that they became old in anticipation of GTA 6
Grand Theft Auto V players are getting old as the world-famous Rockstar game is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
It’s tough, and perhaps slightly scary to believe it’s true that Grand Theft Auto V came out in 2013. It’s currently commemorating its 10th anniversary, with several cosmetic prizes to GTA Online players.
As Rockstar Games and its players are celebrating the milestone achievement however, many find it difficult to believe that they’ve grown so old while waiting for the next installment in the series Grand Theft Auto VI.
When GTA V released, Rockstar then followed up by releasing Red Dead Redemption 2, however recent reports suggest that Rockstar had already begun working for GTA VI shortly after V’s launch.
If so, it amounts to 10 years of waiting for the next game to be out. Fans feel the effects while they wait for an official announcement of the game. The game is anticipated to be out around 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series with X/S, as well as maybe PC.
Reddit user Parkenev humorously wrote: “September 17 2013, GTA 5 was made available 10 years ago! Do you feel old?” Fans showed their increasing age in their posts, recalling the things they’ve done over the last 10 years. some of them having completed their degrees and entered full-time jobs during the same time frame it took Rockstar to make yet another GTA game.
“Since the game’s release in the year 2000, I graduated from the university program, high school and went on to a six-year military career.” said one of the fans. “In the same time frame I finished from college, high school as well as a masters programme and got married, purchased an apartment, and was a mommy. It was insane,” added another.
“Really old. 2013. I was preparing for a solo trip around the globe from Australia. That was what I did. Since the time, I’ve made it a commitment to travel as often as I could. It’s crazy that I bought the game in order to keep myself engaged between shifts of long hours,” read one comment.
