How Can I Locate the Excavation Site on Assassin’s Creed Mirage
As part of your Investigation to locate Ahmad in Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s Find the Missing Brother Investigation, one task entails finding an excavation site that might hold some clues; Hamid provides only an inadequate map as guidance.
Find your map by going into Investigation in your Pause menu, pressing Square/X when hovering over the icon in the bottom left, as seen here, for an indication that the excavation site lies southwest of Baghdad with an oasis along its route. At first, this can be confusing if you are unfamiliar with orienteering. Still, basically, it needs to happen to exit Baghdad via its southwest exit and head south until you reach this area in the wilderness marked on the map below.
If you become disoriented while out in nature and lose your way, use Enkidu (up on the D-pad) with a yellow circle as a guide to pinpoint the Excavation Site location. Once you arrive, you will discover it is a vast quarry populated by enemy soldiers.
Search the quarry floor for a chest hidden by an easily moveable pillar; consider hiring nearby mercenaries if this will assist with clearing away all those soldiers quickly!
Thanks to this kind of investigation, Mirage excels as an open-world game; players are challenged with exploring its breathtaking expanses rather than having everything pointed out. If you like acting out scenes reminiscent of Sherlock Holmes with an investigative mind in hand, Mirage provides plenty of fun opportunities.
