Insomniac’s Spider-Man Trilogy was recently honored as one of gaming’s finest trilogies.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 may only recently come out, yet I bet many of you have already given their thanks and credits on Pete and Miles’ thrilling new journey.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 draws you into its world immediately; I believe its opening hour to be among the best you will experience this year. Players have raved about its extraordinary traversal; GAMINGbible reviewer Ewan described this game as being like an extraordinary fantasy come alive and realised like never before; Insomniac Games have created another heartfelt Spider-Man tale full of twists, turns and jaw-dropping spectacle that many now consider one of gaming’s great trilogies.”
Marvel’s Spider-Man can be thought of as an odd trilogy; consisting of Marvel’s Spider-Man, Miles Morales and 2; however it seems as if Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 may join that list – raising questions as to its place within this formula (will Miles become part of Spider-Man 3 and its classification? Would the Marvel franchise become an odd four?). For now it remains to be seen.
Reddit user Xiaowen_99 started the conversation off right by noting the trilogy as comprised of some of the “best games for PlayStation 4 and 5 eras”, earning more than 3300 upvotes at time of writing.
