PlayStation Plus can save gamers money when it comes to all their anticipated video gaming titles – but with an increase in price and disappointing games being added recently, many members may choose other services over this one.

November saw 14 new titles added to PlayStation Plus extra and premium tiers, including Teardown as an early day one release.

Prepare the ideal heist in this fully destructible voxel world”, reads the official Steam synopsis. Tear down walls using vehicles or explosives for shortcuts; stack objects higher; use your surroundings creatively! ”

As evident from its name and marketing copy, Tuxedo Labs titles tend to attract players looking for destruction-heavy games with chaotic content – though some users may disagree with its contents resulting in either love-or-hate gameplay experiences.

“From what the trailer showed, I expected to be blasting things and having fun,” wrote one Reddit user. “Instead, however, my objective has become gathering objectives under 60 seconds – something which becomes both tedious and increasingly impossible with every attempt made at doing.”

One contributor quickly reminded players that while this game might appear destructive at first glance, it also offers opportunities for theft by “increasing timer settings”. Heist missions provide timed missions that require you to “increase timer settings”.

However, not everyone enjoys its challenging gameplay; one critic noted: “Despite my initial excitement for this game, after only a short amount of time in its campaign I started becoming bored quickly – though only having done a handful of missions already they all seem similar and feature time restrictions (that may or may not extend) making gameplay slow and laborious at best.” However, its sandbox mode proved enjoyable enough at times while possibly this wasn’t meant to be for them afterall!

Teardown may have been one of the most anticipated PS Plus releases this month, yet unfortunately its gameplay did not appeal to everyone. We can only hope December will offer games more universally popular.
