Fans of the Uncharted call for an update in the wake of Drake’s Fortune will be 16 when it comes out
Ah the Naughty Dog’s Uncharted series is a popular franchise that is a staple of the PlayStation brand as well as a series which fans would love to see return.
The latest release was Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection. Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection that was released in 2022 on PC as well as PlayStation 5. The collection also included new remasters of the Uncharted series: A Thief’s Endeavor as well as the Uncharted sequel: Lost Legacy.
But, the previous time the series was to get a new game, was the initial launch of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s Final in the year 2016 on PlayStation 4. That means it’s more than a decade since its last game, and to make matters more difficult with this new console, the PS5 is expected to be the first console generation with no new games in the series since it was first introduced with the PS3 in 2007. PS3. I believe that every Naughty Dog fan can agree that the game needs a new Uncharted game prior to moving on to the next generation of consoles.
In the same vein 2007, the 2007’s The Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune just marked its 16th birthday, and the fans have been calling for the game to be recreated. We did receive a new version that had improved gameplay and graphics within the Nathan Drake Collection in 2015. But do you think about how great it would be if the OG could be when it was rebuilt completely from scratch with the PS5’s improved Tempest Engine, the same engine used in The Final of Us Part I remake? The treasure hunter’s experience will not look as good!
“The UNCHARTED series turns 16 today!” posted Naughty Dog. ” UNCHARTED: Drake’s Fortune climbed, jumped, and shot its way onto the PS3 on November 19, 2007, introducing the world to Nathan Drake, Elena Fisher, and Victor Sullivan.”
Alongside calling for the release of Uncharted Five the fans would like to see the first game from the series receive the needed remake and share their thoughts through Twitter. “Still waiting for Uncharted 5,” responded LOSTyGIRL. “We need a native remake on PS5 for the original trilogy,” Chito added. Chito.
“Remake it, please. Give the first trilogy (and Golden Abyss) the Last of Us Part I treatment,” pleaded Luke Flux. “Big shout out to Amy Hennig for bringing us one of the most enjoyable series in gaming,” was the roar of Virtual Sphere. “It was your work that brought us all in the love of Drake along with all the characters. We’ll never ever forget. You are a queen.”
As of now, we can confirm the fact that Naughty Dog is getting ready to launch The Last of Us Part II Remastered in the month of January 2024 on PS5 in addition to the multiplayer standalone game and of course, the much-rumored The Last of Us Part III. Although I’d like to see a brand new game from the Uncharted series, unless Naughty Dog outsources the project to an experienced group like Blue Point Games, I am not putting my hopes on the table to see a game release any time very soon.
If you’re in the market for an Uncharted fix, not just but Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection part of PS Plus, but so as Uncharted the Nathan Drake Collection on PS4 (backwards compatible with PS5) with Remasters of the first trilogy.
