God of War studio adds former Gears of War narrative director.
Gamer often associate the acronym GOW with either God of War or Gears of War; but today we get something unique.
God of War on PlayStation is among the most celebrated properties, while Gears of War on Xbox is also immensely popular. Both offer compelling narratives which keep players hooked for hours on end while sometimes moving them deeply – we will never forget Dom.
God of War developer Santa Monica Studio recently captured one of The Coalition’s talented creatives with Bonnie Jean Mah joining as narrative director at Santa Monica Studios despite these claims, according to VGC reports. She made this announcement via Twitter.
Jean Mah, best known for their previous work on Age of Empires IV and 40K: Space Marine tweeted her excitement: “All right, let’s do this…I am SO thrilled to share my news – I have recently joined Santa Monica as narrative director! Working alongside such an awesome team/studio makes my heart skip a beat – let’s gooooo.”
Santa Monica Studio and The Coalition have not revealed any forthcoming games; however, both studios have been hiring staff for God of War and Gears of War franchises – an interesting trend!
At this point, Jean Meh’s projects remain unknown. While some might speculate he might be working on God of War Ragnarok DLC or sequel development, only time will reveal and we look forward to finding out!
God of War Ragnarok is now available on PlayStation 5 and PS 4.
