Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will give players a freebie after an uneasy launch
Although we might appear to be a broken record we must reiterate that the debut of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III hasn’t been the best. It’s a fact that the developers appear to know because they’ve stated that players are being rewarded with an offer of a freebie after such an uneasy and awkward launch.
It’s a bit bizarre that we’ve been receiving assurance that the launch was “great” to now being told that there were difficulties, but it’s an entire article on its own. Let’s take a look at the complimentary offer and the reasons why it’s been created.
Call of Duty developers have acknowledged it’s one of the most important issues they have faced in the years since Modern Warfare III’s launch is Battle Pass XP. There are a few issues with this part of the game, and many players take to social media to express their displeasure (as it is the way of gamers). It’s been reported that reimbursement in the form of refunds will be offered to players who have been affected… when there is a fix for this problem is released.
The patch, thankfully, is believed to have been released this week, with the development team working on this secretly since the game’s launch. Evidently, this was a well-known issue with MWIII problem with the issue which ought to have been addressed before the game came out. …?
Whatever the case it’s already been “rolled out,” with the intention of “retroactively grant players the XP they would have earned for time played in matches from launch” to take the game in the near future. We don’t have any details on when precisely, but we’re guessing earlier rather than later.
As per the Loadout, the reimbursement amount can vary based on how many hours you’ve spent playing the game. Don’t expect a bigger refund than you’re entitled to. We’re sorry, but it’s the brakes.
