PlayStation Plus free games have arrived for December! Check them out.
PlayStation has officially unveiled their next batch of free games coming to PlayStation Plus subscription service and are sure to cause much debate and discussion.
November’s offering fell flat with most subscribers and many are feeling that PlayStation Plus has hit an irreversible downward slope that cannot be reversed.
Sony claims its subscription service has gained new members each month; yet many players threaten to leave without better games or features being added soon enough. Finally, many have yet to accept Sony’s price hike despite believing their introduction justifies itself adequately.
December’s offering may change this situation though; PlayStation Plus Essential or higher subscribers will soon have the chance to download LEGO 2K Drive, PowerWash Simulator and Sable at no charge, which should become available by Tuesday 5 December 2023.
At first glance it may not appear impressive, but I can personally vouch for PowerWash Simulator as being an enjoyable relaxing title and LEGO 2K Drive being an adequate racing game.
Reassessing whether this offer surpasses November’s free games is left for fans to decide, since their subscription fees pay Sony millions each month to keep the subscription services going.
Unfortunately initial reactions have been rather dismal, with fans once again venting their disappointment about the price hikes.
One disgruntled user exclaimed in disgust: “After paying such an exorbitant increase for our subscription service and being subjected to this additional increase for data transfer fees…what have we accomplished here?”
Another unimpressed subscriber shared her disappointment and stated, “Didn’t think it would get worse, but boy was I wrong.
Finally one asked simply, “What are these bro?”
However, users might change their minds after playing these titles within their libraries next week; even seemingly unexpected titles have the power to become fan favorites quickly.
