Gray Zone Warfare is an exciting hybrid between Ghost Recon Wildlands and Escape From Tarkov.
Over the past twenty years, video game industry has witnessed an abundance of military shooters such as Call of Duty or Battlefield. Due to this saturation in this genre, some may argue it can sometimes feel oversaturated but one game should never be overlooked: Gray Zone Warfare.
Gray Zone Warfare may sound underwhelming at first, but its gameplay certainly doesn’t. Judging from its recent and stunning trailer, Gray Zone Warfare appears to mix elements from Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands with Escape from Tarkov for an intriguing mix.
Gray Zone Warfare will soon arrive on PC from Madfinger Games – an independent studio from Czech Republic – as an MMO offering both co-op and PvP modes. “After an event on an island located within Southeast Asia has taken place, all areas near it have been placed under international quarantine.”
“With almost all civilian population evacuated by the UN, three private military companies (PMCs) are given orders by their mysterious clients to explore and discover secrets in this region in search of anything of value,” according to its synopsis.
Gray Zone Warfare is an exciting tactical FPS with an emphasis on realism. Join a Private Military Company and navigate a vast open world setting alone or as part of a squad; adapt to your surroundings by employing tactics to your advantage while fighting AI-controlled enemies,” according to its description.
Gray Zone Warfare does not yet have an exact release date; however, since Steam allows users to wishlist it we know at least that this impressive military shooter will come out eventually for PC as well as hopefully PlayStation and Xbox with full cross-play support – we’ll let you know of any developments related to Gray Zone Warfare!
