Final Fantasy XIV’s Starlight Celebration is Coming December 15
Each season, Final Fantasy XIV players get their special holiday they anticipate called”the Starlight Celebration. It is usually around the middle of December with several nice rewards that you can anticipate collecting. The day after Dec. 15 15th, the participants will be given another chance to party.
The celebration will take place from noon (Pacific Time) on Dec. 15 to 6:59am December. 31. That gives participants about two weeks to finish the quests for Christmas and collect their Christmas-themed rewards. It’s the game quest “Blue Starlight” will be accessible through The Bearded Lady NPC in the Amphitheatre of Mih Khetto located in Old Gridania (X: 10.2 and 10.2, Y: 9.4). It is required that players are in the 15th or greater level for the role they’re currently playing before they can begin the quest.
When the quest, as it is the custom for events of this type the players are able to obtain six items that are limited in time. Five of them are items made up of the gear in the Unorthodox Saint’s collection: a beard and hat, half-robe as well as gloves, pants and boots. Another item is an oblong-shaped topiary that is covered with ornamental lights. Certain items available during previous iterations of the show are available from the Starlight Supplier, but what they are will not be known until the event begins.
Based on the costumes which Warriors of Light will be wearing for the celebration and the art used to promote it we can safely conclude that the quest line may be based on the idea of charity. The fact is, Starlight began with a few charitable Ishgardian knights who showed kindness to hungry, cold homeless children of the city. This means, therefore, the Warriors of Light may just have spread the Starlight spirit in 2013 while wearing Santa-inspired costumes.
