The God-simulation games Godus as well as Godus Wars will soon be removed from Steam This means you have a chance to play these games before they’re gone all time.

Created by Peter Molyneux, who previously was a part of The Fable series for Lionshead Studios, the Godus games will put you in the heart of a civilization in which you are able to engage as much or not with your co-workers as you prefer.

Molyneux started work in the title soon after his departure from Lionshead in 2012. In 2012, he founded his own game development business 22cans.

The two Godus games received a lot of praise by both fans and critics however, it’s a sad fact that everything good have to be put to rest, because they’ll soon vanish out of the Steam store permanently.

In a statement issued by the company 22cans made the announcement of the removal from the store Godus as well as Godus Warsfrom Steam. The entire announcement is as follows:: “Regrettably, due to a pending technical change that will affect Amazon Web Services, affecting the ability of us to provide the necessary game files to the new players, these games have been removed from Steam. Steam store. We assure existing users will be able to continue enjoying the games with no interruption.”

As the quote says that if you’ve purchased the games, you don’t have to fret about since you’ll continue to be able play them in the future. If you don’t purchase them before the time that the games are pulled down the game will be lost for good.

It’s a shame because these are great games, particularly those who enjoy simulators such as The Sims or City Skylines.

One thing that the announcement did not address was what time Godus as well as Godus Wars are set to cease to be available for buy. One would think this is important details to share, but in the moment of the writing, an exact date and time haven’t been disclosed.

If, in the meantime you think the Godus games seem like the kind of thing you’d enjoy, It’s recommended that you pick the games up prior to when they’ll be gone forever.
