Fallout fans have initiated a petition drive in memory of Mitten Squad to include him in Fallout 5
Recently, Joseph Wilson (known to YouTube subscribers as MittenSquad) passed away suddenly at only 27 years of age.
Joseph Wilson began uploading videos related to Minecraft more than 10 years ago on YouTube before quickly transitioning to Bethesda RPGs like Elder Scrolls and Fallout, creating self-stipulated challenge runs for them both. Through these efforts he amassed well over 600 videos with 1.42 million subscribers; most notably his most watched video being “Can You Beat Fallout 4 With Only Legendary Weapons?” with over 9.2 Million views!
Joseph Wilson last uploaded to YouTube on 14 July 2022 before taking an extended hiatus and updating subscribers about his health status. Wilson had been fighting pancreatitis, and news of his passing sent shockwaves through the Fallout community.
As an amazing tribute, fans have launched a petition on Change.org asking Bethesda to honour MittenSquad in Fallout 5, whenever it may come out. As of writing, there have been 1,500 signatures so far and this number will likely rapidly grow over the coming days and weeks.
