Hogwarts Legacy has quickly become one of the bestselling games this year and may well feature as one of the contenders for Game of the Year accolades.

Set during the late 1890s – before Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts existed -you play as a Hogwarts student who abruptly begins their academic life during their fifth-year year, raising more than just eyebrows in doing so.

All-in-all, Avalanche Software’s action RPG Hogwarts Legacy allows players to live the Hogwarts experience like never before – from becoming students themselves and building bonds (or making enemies!) with NPC students and teachers to exploring its depths to their hearts content – Hogwarts Legacy provides ample gameplay content!

Still, Hogwarts Legacy as the debut game in a series has plenty of room for improvement should sequels arrive; but since its release some five months ago many players have experienced all that the game offers and some may become concerned that story DLC may never arrive.

As reported by GGRecon, fans on Reddit have expressed their concerns and are wondering what’s in store for the digital Wizarding World. Redditor Sundance_Red expressed her discontent by writing, “Took a break during first run; likely won’t revisit”.

“Initially I was thrilled by this game and played for 20 hours straight – however after experiencing Hogwarts for myself I began to get bored quickly,” they stated. “The world feels dismal without much for you to do outside quests – not much dialogue either and no friends were established outside these.

“Yes it was dissatisfying how our choices didn’t impact much more than initial house selection,” commented JollyTomatillo2740. “Mass Effect is truly unique in this respect – its greatest strengths lie within its combat system while puzzles add another enjoyable layer.”

“I took a break and never resumed playing Hogwarts Legacy again; while initially riveted by it, the lack of motivation to finish left me hanging,” wrote makeyurself on Reddit; this sentiment seems widespread among players of Hogwarts Legacy.

Though many gamers may seem to have unearthed all there is to explore in Hogwarts Legacy, one player recently unearthed an especially creepy event and another found an impressive 400 hour playthrough secret feature!

Hogwarts Legacy has arrived for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox gamers. While Nintendo Switch players had planned on experiencing Hogwarts Legacy right now due to multi-player delays, patient fans will have to wait longer in order to explore Hogwarts on-the-go.
