Hogwarts Legacy remains immensely popular across platforms (except Nintendo Switch) with players discovering every inch of Hogwarts and its surrounding environments in search of secrets and hidden details.
Although most players are content to focus on beating the main story and modding the game to add new activities, some dedicated gamers have dedicated hours of their time exploring everything the game offers – such as hidden rooms accessible through fireplaces. Their discoveries may blow players’ minds.
Reddit user IneedmoreKellBell started a thread asking how many fireplaces with hidden rooms behind them players have discovered; I only know of two so far and thought they were really cool and was hoping there might be more.” While some players confirmed there are two secret fireplace rooms within Castle, others seemed surprised to learn of their existence in general, saying they hadn’t come across any during playthrough.
“Which rooms did you discover secret fireplaces?” one player inquired while another responded by exploring: I couldn’t find any.” Someone else further elaborated by writing: I never knew there were such things as secret fireplaces – after finding all this hidden stuff I thought it was all over!
Hogwarts has always been rich with secrets and mysteries in both books and films, yet many remain unseen even months after its release in videogame form. Without dedicated fans exploring every inch of each area for 100% completion in each level of gameplay, many hidden locations would probably go undetected!
With all this in mind, it comes as no surprise that this game has eclipsed $1 billion in total sales; indeed it even made more money than its source material!
Hogwarts Legacy can now be played on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4/5 and PC platforms and will soon launch for Nintendo Switch later in 2018.
