Are You Wondering If Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Is Coming to Game Pass? If the answer to that question is in the affirmative, Game Pass users might soon get access to Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora!
Ubisoft Montreal introduced players to Pandora with their poorly received Avatar game adaptation from 2009. While fans didn’t take much to Ubisoft Montreal’s attempt, Massive Entertainment may attempt another attempt with Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora for Game Pass too.
Massive Entertainment’s Avatar game takes inspiration from recent Star Wars titles in that it doesn’t strictly adhere to any one Avatar movie; rather it offers up an entirely original narrative featuring new characters set against an unfamiliar background.
All seems promising for Xbox Game Pass subscribers looking forward to exploring Pandora, however the true test lies with whether James Cameron’s sprawling world concept comes to Xbox Series X & S consoles as planned. We have all of Massive’s exciting standalone Avatar title details as well as its status for Gam Pass users.
Unfortunately for them though, there’s always another thing coming along and another round. So all in all it’s an uphill climb when trying to do anything other than sleep in peace!
While Massive Entertainment’s Tom Clancy’s The Division was part of Game Pass for some time, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora may not follow this route. Ubisoft+ will instead host this title from them!
Ubisoft+ subscribers pay a subscription fee each month in exchange for accessing an entire library of Ubisoft games – Avatar included! New titles like Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will also become part of Ubisoft+ when released; though Avatar may not appear directly, Xbox users still can gain access to Ubisoft+ via Xbox.
About Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
Frontiers of Pandora tightens up its experience a bit by having players control only a Na’vi character, rather than taking on multiple. You weren’t raised or trained like any ordinary Na’vi; rather you were raised and trained by RDA (Raid Defense Agency), an aggressive militaristic corporation, to do its bidding. After 15 years captive by RDA you escape its control and return home hoping to reconnect with nature once more.
First-person shooter Avatar blends Avatar’s incredible world with elements of action-driven gameplay in this first-person shooter experience, offering players access to an arsenal of weapons and various ways to traverse Pandora. Human training comes into play here as you switch between traditional Na’vi weapons or pick up high-powered shotguns, assault rifles and pistols to battle through all Pandora has in store for them.
Frontiers of Pandora is all about exploration, discovery and finding yourself. Along your adventure your Na’vi avatar can be customized with new gear, skills and weapons to fit your playstyle – something which Frontiers of Pandora provides upon its launch on December 7th on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X&S consoles.
