DC announces Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong
Justice League Vs. Godzilla Vs. Kong will be aired, so we’ll finally find out what would happen if Batman punched Godzilla in the face. You can’t say that you’ve never thought of that.
IGN reported that the ultimate crossover was announced at San Diego Comic-Con. We don’t have many details on the story yet. However, DC has revealed that the plot is based around a fight between the Justice League vs. the Legion of Doom, which opened a portal to the “Monsterverse”, where the biggest lads Godzilla, and King, as well as other monsters appeared in the DC Universe. That sounds silly in the most positive way.
This is an comic – it will be released in seven issues. The first issue was published this October. Brian Buccellato, the writer of the series, is joined by Christian Duce and Luis Guerrero as artists.
Jim Lee, DC’s publisher, chief creative officer, and president wrote (via IGN), “As comics fans, nothing is more exciting and fun than exploring the amazing ‘What If’ scenarios that arise when fandoms are mixed.” In this instance, the Justice League will be taking on the King of Monsters, Godzilla. But also the Mighty Kong! This is a no-holds barred crossover battle that has been decades in the planning, and it’s one no comics fans will miss!
The battle between Godzilla and Kong looks like a lot of fun, and for me, I can’t get enough to watch it.
