Red Dead Redemption II has always been one of the most beautiful games, but it’s taken to another level when it runs at 4K at 60fps.

The fact that Red Dead Redemption II has not been upgraded to Xbox Series 8/S is surprising, given the game’s popularity. An insider claimed last year that while plans exist for new-gen versions of the game, they may be delayed indefinitely because Rockstar Games focus on developing GTA 6. It’s clear that I am speaking for all of us when I state that we would like to see GTA VI as soon as possible. However, it is a pity that RDR2 has had its new-gen updates put on hold.

Red Dead Redemption II looks stunning even without the new-gen update. There are also ways to improve its look without having it ported. Check out this 4K, 60fps video created by YouTube. This is the most stunning RDR2 video ever. It was captured on a PC with a pricey NVIDIA GeForce 3090 Ti graphics cards and then enhanced using ultra graphics settings. Check out the video below.

Even if Red Dead Redemption 2 isn’t getting a new-gen update anytime soon, its predecessor could be receiving a remake for PS5 or Xbox Series X/S before the end of this year. The South Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee site has a new score for “Red Dead Redemption“. A leaked recently claimed that the remake would be released in November.

Rockstar Games has not confirmed if the remake reports are true. We’ll have to wait until August to see what they say.
