Sony’s PlayStation 5 will be released on November 20, 2020. Fans are eagerly awaiting the Pro-version.

Since months, rumours are circulating that the PS5 Pro is also on its way. Since the release of the PlayStation in Japan back in 1994, Sony launched at least one revision of this console generation, whether it was a smaller version or, in the case the PS4, an improved version.

Sony will release the PlayStation 5 Pro when? According to recent rumors and past release dates, this time could be near. PlayStation 4 released its original version in 2013, with the Pro edition launching in 2016.

Sony is yet to officially announce the Pro PS5. We know it’s coming, but Sony isn’t confirming the news. Despite this, during Microsoft’s recent court victory against US regulators, FTC and the brand, Sony revealed that they intend to release at the very least one console before the end of the year.

Recent leaks indicate that the PlayStation 5 Pro is going to be a monster. Tom Henderson , an industry insider, claims the PS5 Pro will be released on November 20, 2024. The codename for the PS5 Pro is reportedly Trinity.

Some studios have reportedly received development kits. Technically, it is claimed that the PS5 Pro will have 30 Workgroup Processors (WGP), 18000 Mts Memory, and accelerated Ray-Tracing. It also targets consistent frames per seconds at 4K resolution. In addition, the PS5 Pro’s ‘performance’ mode will aim for 8K.

Previous reports also suggested that the PlayStation 5 Pro would cost between PS600 and PS700 . If these specs were true, then we wouldn’t have been surprised at its price.

Sony should reveal the full details of the PlayStation 5 Pro in the next few months, especially if it is set to be released in 2024.
