Hogwarts Legacy: The Goblet Update completely revamps the game.

Hogwarts Legacy takes place during the late 1890s and years prior to Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts events; you play as an intruder who joins Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry during its fifth-year student session, much to everyone’s astonishment both students and tutors alike.

Hogwarts Legacy was originally released for console and PC in February 2023 and while interest may have diminished over time, we wouldn’t be shocked if Avalanche Studios’ action RPG still made Game of the Year lists this year. Mods continue to add life back into Avalanche’s action RPG; one such mod being ‘The Goblet Overhaul’ which keeps fans coming back.

Now available through Nexusmods, The Goblet Overhaul mod offers players several difficulty settings ranging from “Goblet Easy” to “Goblet Nightmare”, plus other additional options.

By selecting one of the settings available to you, The Goblet Overhaul mod offers double experience points (XP), an increase in inventory slots for items and potions, the rescue of all beasts in-game, reduced cooldown periods when casting spells, unlock travel locations and much more! Unfortunately however, since this mod can only be installed onto PC and not consoles.

Hogwarts Legacy fans agree on one point above all others: It needs an Avalanche Studios action RPG like Hogwarts Legacy to remain this year’s most-selling title despite The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s release.

Hogwarts Legacy has officially arrived for PC, PlayStation and Xbox. Due to delays, Nintendo Switch users should expect it on 14 November 2023.
