PlayStation Plus members were delighted with an assortment of bonus gifts!
An unexpected bonus can make any day brighter – especially if it doesn’t cost anything extra! It never hurts to ask about extra incentives available through work that could give an added edge and increase performance levels – this one does!
Sony recently sent email invitations to certain PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers inviting them to test out its 4K streaming feature for certain PlayStation 5 titles available through PS Plus library.
“Congratulations! As a PlayStation Plus Premium member, in addition to helping test our PS5 Public Beta, you have been chosen as part of an early tester group for our cloud streaming feature that’s coming soon to PlayStation 5 and PS Plus Premium,” reads an email sent directly to subscribers.
Sony was initially conducting 4K streaming trials internally before rolling it out publicly for public testing. To take full advantage of 4K streaming, however, users will require a strong internet connection with stable speed; unfortunately only members in PS Plus Premium Tier may avail themselves of this feature due to it only supporting any type of streaming at all.
4K streaming is nothing new – after all, Google Stadia used to offer this capability – yet Xbox has taken the lead when it comes to console gaming with regards to cloud streaming that is implemented into its Xbox Game Pass Ultimate service.
Sony currently leads in this regard with 4K streaming being accessible for both brands – meaning Xbox cloud gaming has fallen far behind Sony in streaming resolution at this stage. No doubt 4K will become more widely accessible over time on Xbox.
Relatedly, PlayStation Plus subscribers have become immensely enthusiastic over its most recent addition and anticipate what September could hold; many anticipate an incredible month for PS Plus subscribers and users alike!
