Even when fans love the same games, they rarely get together. When fans come together, we are sure to take their agreement seriously. Especially when it comes to All Stars Battle Royale.

Sony Interactive Entertainment released the cross-platform fighter in 2012. It was a new take on Super Smash Bros. Unique means it was never praised by critics, but its players still love it for its quirky quirks.

PlayStation users decided to go down memory lane two days ago. Since then, many gamers have followed in their footsteps. We sometimes travel down this road without rhyme or cause, just because we enjoy nostalgia.

commented on Redditor, Drod-760: “Had soooo much fun when I played this game in my first year of college.” I’m terrible at Smash Bros, but stomped my asses in this game against my friends. Even though we played against random pairs online, their combos would obliterate us. “Had a great time.”

One user said, “This game needs a sequel badly.” At the very least, a high quality remaster/remake. While many gamers share these sentiments, others don’t. “It bombed. Sony wants only multi-million dollar sellers. All games and franchises that do not perform well are quickly forgotten. Sony’s vision is limited. They don’t see that this game can be used as a way to promote their less-known brands.

Unfortunately, isn’t this the reality? We don’t judge Sony because they want to invest their money in the more popular franchises. It makes sense. But where is that unbridled enthusiasm of doing what you enjoy and not caring what others think? All Starsfans are hoping for this, but I can’t help supporting their passion.

This impassioned speech by theunknownkiddo1 says it all. “THAT IS WHAT I HAVE F**KING BEEN SAYING!” It’s one of my three favorite games ever – I played it for hours on both my PS Vita and PS3.”

So powerful. So powerful.
