Elden Ring Player Discovers new Weapon After over one Year
Dataminers had discovered an intriguing sword in Elden Ring that left people perplexed and perplexed, yet failed to yield results in search. Fans assumed it must have been cut content and moved along accordingly.
At first glance, it may have seemed as though we have always seen it coming: datamining revealed several icons depicting three unique swords; one in stone and two adorned with designs on their blade. After almost 18 months we finally have it! The stone sword.
PinoPinisimo discovered it first and shared it via Elden Ring YouTuber Ziostorm; both identified it as being similar to many of those buried at sword graveyards.
FromSoftware put considerable time and effort into crafting the sword design; instead of scrapping it entirely, however, they used it as part of an elaborate prop display. According to speculation, intricate weapons designed using stone sword as their base were supposed to come about; in theory this implies the three designs linked and could even have formed part of one long questline.
Fans have speculated that FromSoftware drew inspiration for its sword graveyards from Berzerk manga series which follows Guts who wields an identical blade. Berzerk provided one source of many inspirations used throughout their games by FromSoftware; thus making their games unique as well as utilising cut content to their advantage in different ways. It would be fascinating to witness FromSoftware at work on such games with so much inspiration already within.

In preparation of Elden Ring DLC being released soon, fans should keep an eye out for any details in patches and updates as we approach its release date.
