Sorry to inform you this game has suddenly been taken off sale without much warning by EA – leaving fans bewildered at this decision to purchase digital copies in future. Fans were taken aback upon learning of it!

No matter the console – PlayStation, Xbox or PC gaming – or gamer PC user you may be, Rocket Arena digital sales options no longer appear available to purchase. Of course if you already own or plan to purchase physical copies in the near future they should still work fine; but digital versions for sale no longer appear.

Delisting games has become more prevalent as publishers struggle to justify keeping servers alive that don’t generate sufficient revenues for themselves. Financially speaking, updating content becomes unfeasible quickly for any small number of returning players; that is just business reality.

EA took an unconventional route when they announced this move: quietly and discreetly. Though some outlets reported there had been no announcement at all, technically one did exist via their website in an easily missed post; furthermore, this announcement stated simply that PS Plus or Game Pass subscription services wouldn’t offer access anymore and not that the game had shut down completely.

Even though Rocket Arena wasn’t groundbreakingly impressive, its players nonetheless found it enjoyable – one fan wrote in Google review “this game is actually good… Rocket Arena provides an intriguing casual gaming experience… which includes rocket jumping! Already interesting!” Although never considered for Game of the Year awards (GOTY), its unexpected closure seems cruel indeed.

Empassioned fan posts make the situation all the more frustrating: “To begin with I want to say that I absolutely adore and support this game and hope it succeeds and shines – however unfortunately many things stand in its way and against us as players of it,” shared one player.
